Brittany obtained her master’s in clinical family and adolescent therapy and has worked in the field of coaching and women's empowerment for over a decade as a clinical counselor. In 2016, Life Coach Brittany opened an international online Life Coaching school - Pinq U - that debuted and graduated over 700 students from across the US, UK, Singapore, and Australia. She also created the DW Life Coach Network, a global professional network for life coaches that holds over 500 + members from around the world. Coach Brittany has been featured on MTV, The TD Jakes Talk Show, The Huffington Post, CBS and NBC News, Essence Magazine and other national and international publications as well as being selected for the Forbes Coaches Council. Coach Brittany is additionally the author of Dear Pinq, a dedication and self-help book for millennial women that features personal life lessons in love, career, finances, wellness and more.
Alongside other major career accomplishments, more recently, Life Coach Brittany spoke internationally at a TEDx in Africa. In 2018, Brittany received a proclamation from the Governor of Virginia to honor her work in the industry of life coaching during National Life Coaches Week - Brittany is the first person to receive this honor within the industry of Life Coaching nationally. In the same year, Coach Brittany opened Pinq Inc., a co-working space and women’s incubator in Virginia.
Pinq Inc. is the first women-centric coworking space owned by a woman of color in Richmond, Virginia that offers memberships, private offices, event space and meeting rooms for visiting businesses. The 4,000 square foot space offers several different digital services from virtual assisting, to call center answering services to their most popular digital service - social media management. On average Pinq Inc. manages 20-30 women-owned businesses accounts per month globally!
We all know that success doesn’t happen overnight. On every woman’s journey, we encounter wake-up calls that let us know exactly when it’s time for us to do something different. “I decided to start my business after one of the most devastating periods of my life. My job at the time was no longer able to pay me, but I remained at the company unpaid for 5-6 months out of fear that I wasn’t capable of doing anything else outside of that job title. I nearly lost my home and car and went to bed hungry often. After several months of no financial improvement, l decided to Google ' Who does a professional woman speak to for help and guidance?' and the first word that popped up was “Life Coach”! At that very moment, I knew that was what I wanted to become. I created a task list of everything that I needed to do to launch the business and told myself that I had nothing to lose. The rest is history!”
Pinq Inc.’s signature programs for coaching and consulting include a 6-Figure Mentoring Accelerator program that already has 382 members, individual business consulting, and a 6-Week Life Coaching certification program known as Life Coach School 2.0 that has graduated more than 1,000 students since launching in 2016.
Most of us know that to create a successful business, we must create a structure with daily habits and remain consistent to win. Pinq Inc. offers much-needed structure and support. “I believe that women, especially women in business should have … balance and work structure … Second, I believe in having habits that include pouring back into yourself. Lastly, my success habit is investing! I am a huge advocate of investing in assets, programs, property and knowledge that will provide me a long-term return on my investment, regardless (of) if that is monetary or not”.
Brittany draws inspiration from other history-making women such as Serena Williams, Sara Blakely, Sheliah Johnson, and of course Oprah! “I love women that have created generational wealth despite adversity with innovation and actual hard work”. Without a doubt, Brittany is making history and is now unstoppable because she made a DECISION! “I plan to make history with the launch of our new app for business owners [kicking it off] with the upcoming announcement! And, I will be known for expanding Pinq Inc. co-working spaces nationally in 10 states over the next 5 years, opening an international location in Paris and Cape Town by 2027”.
The second location for Pinq Inc. will debut in summer 2020 in Buckhead Atlanta, GA.
